I don't know exactly how
but the pieces fit just right
like they were meant to
things are winding down,
but the pace is what worries me

But the path unfolds itself
as a brand new map
with creases ever so tight and sharp
and I will follow where they lead me
destination unknown

(as it is for most of us)

But my desire
is to always have the pieces
fit together
